Chicago International Tea Festival
The Chicago International Tea Festival on November 1, 2, & 3, 2019, is a new yearly event dedicated to expanding the specialty tea community in the Midwest region and to giving a central US location for industry professionals to connect and learn. This event is designed for the novice tea aficionado as well as the expert and also for those already in the tea industry. There will be free informative presentations about tea, tea culture and health by local tea merchants and educators as well as national and international experts. Free tea tastings will be provided all day long every day. Swag bags with samples and coupons will be given out to the first 1300 attendees and there will be a daily door prize giveaway.
On Friday, Industry Day, you can attend lectures and workshops that will be designed to enhance your business knowledge, your tea skills and much more. Then on Saturday and Sunday, you can continue to meet with others in the industry, taste new teas to source and firm up both new and old business contacts while also observing how consumers react to the teas and items on offer on the vendor floor.
If you are already a tea lover but not in the industry, you owe it to yourself to attend one of the US tea festivals - and now there's one equidistant to either coast! Whether you attend for just the 2 day consumer portion or make a 3 day weekend of it and join us for Industry Day on Friday and have breakfast with the Rock Stars of Tea before the workshops start, attend the opening ceremonies, eat lunch with our Cultural Dignitaries or rub elbows with other tea aficionados at our Cocktail Reception that evening, you are sure to enjoy this unique event.
