Our founder’s journey in the tea industry began 35 years ago as a trainee, helping his aging parents and sisters.
"I wasn't sure if this was the right path for me, but everything changed the day I was invited to taste tea in the factory’s tasting room. The experience captivated me, and I knew this was the industry I wanted to dedicate myself to," Pradeep Weerasinghe recalls.
From that pivotal moment, our founder's path was clear. Over the years, he ascended through the ranks, holding top-level managerial positions, but his dream was to create something more meaningful. With no clients, no financial support, and a family to provide for, he took a significant risk and founded Evince & Co.
