Last spring Nescafé introduced in Japan a matcha making brewer that uses Dolce Gusto capsules.
The new Nescafé Dolce Gusto Uji Matcha capsules use only tea sourced from the famous Uji region near Kyoto. The machines, which also make lattes and a selection of conventional teas, were tested in Hokkaido prefecture. Nestlé made them available nationwide in October. No word on when the capsules will be available elsewhere but they can be purchased online. Price: $8.90 for a box of eight.
